Fin, the Project BIG fish Content Management System (CMS) brings power back to the people responsible for  managing their organization’s online presence. Without having knowledge of any crazy javascript, html or css, you will be able to manage your site’s content, settings, members or volunteer, email campaign, commerce and site traffic from anywhere with an internet connection. Whether a you have small organization, a large one or even one with multiple sites, Fin is your power tool for success.



Fin Features:

DASHBOARD:
Your CMS  has  a password-protected area of your site which when first logged in pushes you to your dashboard. This is a great place to leave notes for other editors and content for review. Articles can be added or edited using the Add/Edit link under the Dashboard Archive.

PAGES:
The backbone of your CMS is the ability to manage your page content. The PAGES tab allows you to view all your site pages in the form of a site tree. From this location you can add and edit sections, subsections and pages. We will preload this section based on your approved sitemap. Pages can include text, images and downloads as well as have the ability to turn on commenting, rss feeds and print-friendly versions.

EXTRAS:
The Extras tabs allows you to manage all your special content not specifically tied to one page. These tools include such items as rotating page banners, sidebars and polls.

SETTINGS:
From within the CMS, you will have full control of your site editors, their permissions, global meta tags and  CMS activity report which shows what actions various editors have taken on the site. In addition, there is a window into your web/email host, especially important for control of your email settings.

MEMBERS:
Whether members, volunteers or simply special visitors, your CMS comes with the ability to administer a password protected area of your site for visitors to view and comment on special content. You can both add and edit special content as well as the profile of these users.

SERVICES:
Fin utilizes several 3rd Part Services such as Picnik for editing photos, YouTube and Flickr for adding video and photo galleries to your site as well as additional services such as iContact and Qgiv. With iContact, you have the power to create, send and track your blast email campaign. iContact also houses your email lists and is tied into your email collection tools on your site. Qgiv is a great way to start accepting donations and collecting member and event fees.

ANALYTICS:
Your CMS integrates code provided by Google Analytics to review and analysis your site’s traffic. A free Google Analytics' account is setup with every Fin site!
